Dictador 12YO Rum is a Colombian rum with a rich aroma and mild flavor packaged in an elegant dark matte bottle. Accessible in tasting, perfect even for beginners gourmet drinkers from the Caribbean.

It is created in the distillation of virgin sugar cane syrup both in copper alembics and in steel distillation columns. Oligated in oak barrels with the solera method.

Rum Dictador 12YO  can be served in its pure form or on the ice cube. It will also be a great ingredient of classic drinks.

Rum Dictador – brand history.

It dates back to the mid-eighteenth century, when Severo Arango Ferro came to Cartagena de Indias to control and strengthen trade between Spain and its overseas colonies. Thanks to his knowledge and strength he quickly earned the nickname Dictador. Fascinated by the excellent taste of the rum produced, he became the largest producer and seller of this drink. 160 years later, in 1913, Don Julio Arangoy Parra, a descendant of Dictador, founded Destileria Columbiana, becoming the best producer of rum in the Caribbean after years. The third generation of the Arango family created the Dictador Europe project, starting the international expansion of the brand.
