Tinner Bros Toffee Nut Whisky Liqueur – a whisky liqueur with toffee and nut flavours.
Tinner Bros Toffee Nut Whisky Liqueur is a craft whisky-based liqueur from Cornwall, created by Tarquin Leadbetter — the founder of the acclaimed Tarquin’s Gin — as a modern and deliberately rebellious interpretation of classic flavoured whisky. The brand was inspired by the legend of the Tinner Bros, former tin miners working along the Cornish coast who, according to local stories, secretly distilled their own spirits after work.
This industrial and “miners-inspired” atmosphere is reflected both in the brand’s visual identity and in the character of the spirit itself, which intentionally breaks away from the rigid and conservative world of traditional whisky. The producer describes it as “sweet defiance in a glass”, a sweet act of whisky rebellion.
The spirit itself combines bourbon whisky with intense notes of caramelised and roasted hazelnuts, creamy praline, nougat, and rich chewy toffee. Tinner Bros Toffee Nut Whisky Liqueur is neither a classic cream liqueur nor a typical flavoured whisky — it is more of a modern premium dessert spirit, created both for sipping neat, over ice, and for mixology and cocktails inspired by American bourbon bars.
