Description
Talisker Whisky is produced and bottled at the only distillery on Skye in Scotland. Often called the "golden liquor with Skye," a highly volcanic character. In its taste feels very strong accents of peat, mitigated a bit by notes of sweet and spicy elements. Tasting Talisker hard not to notice that it is formed by the sea, so strong are the accents of sea salt, iodine and seaweed. An interesting fact is that, unlike most of the whiskey, Talisker before bottling it is diluted to 45.8% alcohol, not the generally accepted 40% or 43%.
