Miodula Prezydencka Splash – a modern, lighter take on the classic honey recipe.

Miodula Prezydencka Splash is a Polish flavored vodka that is a variation of the iconic Original Aged Miodula Prezydencka. The Splash version reinterprets its character in a fresher, more approachable and modern form. While the classic version is a noble spirit aged for a long time in oak barrels and based on a deep honey-oak profile, the Splash edition focuses on lightness, greater drinkability and a clearer emphasis on fresh honey notes.

The base of Miodula Prezydencka – both in the classic and Splash versions – remains natural honey and a carefully selected composition of ingredients, which is the secret of its flavor. In the Splash edition, however, the emphasis has shifted from long aging and heavier barrel notes to freshness, clarity and ease of enjoyment. By comparison, the classic Miodula matures in Polish oak barrels, which give it a deep aroma, color and complex character.

The Splash version limits the influence of the barrel, making the profile of the spirit brighter, more direct and less “liqueur-like”, and closer to flavored vodkas. The production process in both cases is based on high-quality Polish spirit and natural ingredients, including honey sourced from selected origins. It is the quality of the raw materials and their proper composition that create the characteristic balance between sweetness and the purity of alcohol that distinguishes the entire Miodula line.

Mixology and cocktails using Miodula Prezydencka Splash.

It is in mixology that the Splash version shows its greatest advantage over classic Miodula variants. Its lighter profile and reduced dominance of barrel notes make it easier to combine with other ingredients:

• Honey Splash & Soda: 40 ml Miodula Prezydencka Splash, sparkling water, slice of lemon
  Preparation: Pour ingredients into a glass with ice and stir gently.
• Honey Citrus: 40 ml Miodula Prezydencka Splash, 20 ml lemon juice, 10 ml sugar syrup
  Preparation: Shake with ice in a shaker and strain into a chilled glass.
• Splash Mule: 40 ml Miodula Prezydencka Splash, 120 ml ginger beer, 10 ml lime juice
  Preparation: Combine ingredients in a glass with ice and garnish with lime.
