What is Blue Fish Dry Riesling Pfalz?
Blue Fish Dry Riesling Pfalz is a dry white wine produced by the Die Weinmacher GmbH cooperative in the Pfalz (Palatinate) region of Germany, specifically around Niederkirchen in the Mittelhaardt area – the world’s largest single Riesling appellation. The wine labeled "Dry" has an alcohol content of around 12.5% ABV.
It is produced sustainably thanks to Die Weinmacher’s ecological practices – limiting fertilization through soil analysis, reducing pesticides, and completely eliminating genetically modified organisms at all stages of production.
Blue Fish Dry Riesling offers a harmonious structure – it is smooth, yet fresh and fruity. Aromas are dominated by fresh apricots, ripe peaches, and subtle tropical fruit tones such as apricot and white peaches. On the palate, the wine features crisp acidity, a hint of lime, and a distinct mineral finish typical of Pfalz wines – with a clear, stony note at the end.
The Blue Fish brand has won numerous international awards – including Gold at the Mundus Vini 2024 competition and the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards for the Organic and Dry Riesling versions. Best of all, this white wine is very affordable. This makes it versatile – equally suited for a connoisseur’s glass or for a casual wine lover simply seeking a good wine for a hot day.
