Wykorzystuje się w nim serwatkę, która powstaje na skutek oddzielenia ziaren twarogu. Serwatkę poddaje się fermentacji, w wyniku której powstaje tzw. „piwo mleczne”. Jest ono destylowane trzy razy, dzięki czemu powstaje łagodna w smaku wódka, z delikatnymi nutami wanilii oraz cynamonu.
